The only thing that was taken was my 3 year old Ipod that at a pawn shop would probably get something like $10! How frustrating! I have thought a lot about the person that did this. I first was so frustrated, How selfish can you be? What kind of person doesn't care about anything else but a couple of bucks? As the day went on, I realized (with my sister's help) that it could have been a lot worse, and as much as I really want this thief to find justice...I really want them to just change their ways so that this can't hurt anyone else.

Was it Worth it?
This morning Jack and I headed out to run errands and found this...

wow...sorry guys. Glad it wasn't worse...
OH. MY. GOSH!!! Scary! I would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO mad! That is unbelievable. What did you even do? It's not like you could just load up and drive home with no windows and all that glass everywhere. Man, that is so awful.
Sorry about the extra space under, "I would be..." that was Olivia's doing. :)
That is a horrible thing to see when approaching your car. That has happened twice to Ryan since we've been married. The first time they stole all his school books, the second time, they tried to hot wire the car & take it. I was fuming with anger! There was no room ( & still isn't) in my heart to be feel any sadness towards whomever it was that did it. BUT yes, yes you are right, it can always be worse.
On the lighter note, congrats new home-owners! It is so fun to have your own place to paint/tile/carpet however you want. Those will be fun projects for you guys to do together. Where is your place at?
ah I would have been so mad! Some people in this world, I just don't understand! But atleast it wasn't worse and everyone is safe and well!
That's awful! It makes me so mad that people have to act like that! Well I'm back in town so I'll call you and we'll get together!
Jeff told me about your break-in. I feel the same- it makes me so frustrated!! People seriously have nothing better to do then drive around all night looking for cars to break into. And they never get anything good anyways. Oh...it makes me want to hit someone.
I'm pretty sure I would have gone ballistic and started throwing shards of glass at everyone nearby, meanwhile accusing them of doing it. Congrats on keeping a cool head.
How scary, I am so sorry. I am glad to know that you guys are ok though. You are much more composed then I think I would ave been, how maddening!
