Six Month Professional Photos

I know I promised I would post more pictures of us. But, we took Jack's 6 month photos, and I wanted to share. We got some great shots, and some good family ones too! (And yes, Jack put himself in that position laying on his stomach. Posing)

Life at the Stone Household

Life this past week has been a whirlwind. My students moved in, Andrew has been running 2-3 Freshman Orientations a week while getting ready for his second semester of his Masters' program to begin. And Jack...well Jack is just getting so big, I feel like he is becoming a little boy and growing out of being a baby boy. Here are some of the photos from the past few weeks.

Jack has started all sorts of fun food. He loves bananas especially and gets mad at us when we are done feeding him. I let him try to feed himself applesauce. He didn't get any in his mouth, but it was fun to watch him play, and make a mess.

So, I have started a indoor soccer league, which is a totally different subject but I love it! Even though we lose all the time. Anyway, the games sometimes are really late so Drew puts Jack to bed. For those of you that know Andrew he has a problem matching and it drives me crazy, I always have to change what he is wearing and now with Jack, what Jack wears. So this night he just wanted to bug me and put him in everything that clashes and that aren't even pajamas. (you make think I'm crazy but we all have our things).

Jack loves to play! I wish we had a yard with a playground he sure loves to swing.
So, my students moved in...we take them on a retreat to Heber. There is one other couple that does what Drew and I do. The other couple are expecting a baby in October. So, luckily my boss told us that she and Jack and I should sleep at a hotel while the boys sleep at UVU's Wasatch campus with the students. Andrew and the other RA Jay made tents to keep light and students out so they could get some sleep. Us ladies (and Jack) slept great at the hotel!
Our little boy is just growing and learning new things all the time. I just really liked his outfit this day so I had Drew take pictures.
Sorry this was so long, and I realize that there are really just pictures of Jack so, I will try to take more pictures of Drew and I to post!
Enjoy!

Summer Fun

We have had a lot of fun the past few weeks or summer. Jack is doing a new thing nearly everyday and is just growing too fast! Last week, Andrew got the day off for the 24th of July, so we joined my family on a hike! It was a lot of fun. Following the hike we cooled off in the pool and then ended the day with a family BBQ! Here is my sister Natalie and niece Taylor, 5 years old, such a tough girl--hiked the whole way!

Our little family--and if you will notice our "little punk"! That bandanna was just too cute.

Our tired little boy, taking a nap with Grandma Debbie.

The funnest part of the summer has been seeing Jack grow and learn. It is crazy to watch him recognize the body parts he has. First was his hands, feet, and just the last few days his tongue. I count myself a happy mom, he is such a happy boy. We can always get a smile out of him!
