Christmas Morning

Three new posts... Keep a scrollin'!

Christmas was so fun, we spent it in Dixon, CA with Drew's parents and siblings. Five grandkids 2 and under... it was nuts! Drew of course spoiled me and I tried to do the same back! I sure love him. Jack mostly liked the wrapping paper, but that is to be expected. He got some cute Christmas PJ's from Grandpa and Grandma Stone! From Santa, Jack got a walker/ rider truck He really liked it, however, there were a few moments he chose the princess walker over his own. It just had more songs... We hope! The last of the day was spent chasing Jack up G & G's stairs. He loved those things, thankfully we don't have any of our own! Merry Christmas!

Beautiful Monterey

For Christmas we were with Drew's side this year. We first went to Monterey, CA where his mom lives. It is such a beautiful area! Wow! When you can hear the waves from the house I think you are in good shape. We had a lot of fun. Sunset on the beach (although it was covered by the clouds), presents and dinner, a morning walk along the beach and then my favorite walking along the beach barefoot (a first for Jack)! (fyi: those pictured are some of Drew's brothers Brandon, wife Sarah and daughter Layleigh and Tylor)

AMAZING... I can't say more.

Temple Square at Christmas Time

A few weeks ago we went with some friends to Temple Square and then the Melting Pot (super yummy!) I'm a little late on posting the pictures...

And I think that is all, for the posting tonight!

Play Date

Jack and I went to our play date at the mall for Lunch and Santa visits today. We ended up playing on these toy cars the things for a while. First Jack and Olivia had fun driving the convertible! Jack then got distracted with this spaceship, he played for a long time in it. He also like that it echoed a bit so as you can see he would scream a bunch! And Olivia joined him for a while in there too! We sure had fun!

ps. Keep going there are 2 other new posts!

Elmo Fetish

Here is our Elmo loving boy, relaxing with a little Elmo in the morning!

Giving Elmo "loves".

Sure is nice that at times I can use this to help me get ready in the morning.

HO HO HO!

Jack got to see Santa Claus. It started happy...

Then he turned around... it didn't end so happy!

TRUE WOLVERINES

Tonight Drew and I became TRUE WOLVERINES! Andrew's office of Student Life put on the a Bon Fire to all UVU students to become True Wolverines, which for all of you that don't know means kissing at a specific time and place. It all began with Utah State, so if have questions ask, talk to them. But here we go...We are TRUE WOLVERINES!
Just like our first kiss...Andrew gave me more than I asked for...I sure love that man.

Hope all of you can one day join the club to TRUE WOLVERINES

Thanksgiving Weekend...w/ Lots of Pictures!

We have had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, enjoying food, family and mostly for Jack and I lots of time with Daddy! Now, there are a lot of pictures so if you are interested keep going...I'll try to keep my words short.
We began Thanksgiving morning playing indoor soccer with my siblings and some friends, this is where Jack got to stay... blocked by folding chairs. It didn't last at all and one person had to stay out to watch him.

Our Family at Thanksgiving dinner!

Enjoying POTATOES! YUM!

My sister Becky

Jack and Mommy at dinner.

After dinner we relaxed in the living room while my very talented sister Becky serenaded us, Jack wanted to join the fun.

So, aunt Becky let him.

So one of Andrew's greatest friends and Jack's name sake Davies has been an intern in DC and flew in for Thanksgiving so Friday morning we headed up to hang out with him. While I was getting ready I looked down and found this...

At Davies house, playing with Uncle Davies toys!

The last little while we have realized that Jack loves Elmo. It started with being at Walmart or Target and passing the toys, we would push the button on some talking Elmo and loved watching Jack's response. He also has a book that he loves about Elmo which makes noise. We found a DVD, that Jack loves. Elmo will talk then it goes to real kids and back. Drew and I have found that he will only pay attention when Elmo is talking and then go back to playing when he is gone. It is pretty funny. I don't feel like we have pushed Elmo on him but he has more naturally started to like him. It is fun to watch him know who Elmo is! Here is him at Walmart today watching a talking Elmo.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are even more excited to Christmas! Hope Everyone enjoyed there weekend too!

Twilight!

Before you make judgements listen to the whole story. Yes, I am a Twilight fan, I really like all the books and have always known I would want to see the movie. I figured I could wait, take my time to see it... plans changed of course when Thursday at 4 I get a call from a friend in my branch wondering if I wanted to get tickets to the midnight showing. At first I was a little hesitant, if I go to a midnight movie, home by 2 or 3 then Jack up at 6! Yikes! However, something inside me was super curious. Maybe it is the fact that the last 9 1/2 months since Jack was born has been pretty void of anything spontaneous, or maybe it was the 16 year old girl in me that just was dying to see Edward, so I said YES! So at 10:45 Jeni, Tesera and I headed out for Twilight! MOM"S GONE WILD!!
Here we are readily awaiting the movie (Me, Tesera, & Jeni)

I can't tell you how much fun we had. I have decided that I will list my favorite things...Here we go:
1. The fact that 10 minutes before midnight, theater workers came in and gave away prizes. Prizes for costumes, for Twilight apparel which weren't all just teens. In fact there were at least 3-4 old enough to be my mom ladies in the mix.
2. The fact that when they asked, "Who's favorite character is Edward?" Everyone screamed while the 3 teenage boys there BOOed!
3. The fact that there was Twilight trivia...which thankfully I didn't know many of the answers.
4. This lady pictured below. She was given a prize for being the oldest woman there. 60! Sixty years old and at a midnight showing of Twilight? That is what I want to be like at 60!

6. The fact that 5 minutes into the movie someone pulled the fire alarm and luckily it went of within 3 minutes or I'm pretty sure there would have been a rumble.
7. The fact that I had set myself up to be royally disappointed and really wasn't disappointed. I actually liked it!
8. The fact that all day today I have kept thinking about it, and am now going to Stephanie Meyer's Website to read the 200 some odd pages she has posted of the Edward addition.

What a wonderful night... Just us mom's out on the town enjoying pretending to be 16 again! Luckily we each have are own Edward Cullen, even though all three think we are ridiculous! :)

Looking Back...

I really wanted to post this sentimental, however after literally 15-20 tries of uploading these pictures this is what I got...
This coming Friday the 14th, 3 years ago, Andrew and I began our journey. Today for a nice Sunday afternoon activity we took a walk down the street to this tree (sorry I had another picture of it...I guess the trunk is okay). This is one of the first places Andrew and I ever spent one on one time together and where on November 14, 2005 Andrew asked me if "He could be my husband forever?" (Always thinking outside of the box). We took Jack there and played in the leaves. It is crazy how time passes. On that day nearly 3 years ago, I honestly thought I couldn't love Andrew more, however, the love that I have for him now is just indescribable; it grows more and more everyday.

I love this picture. This is (kinda) where we began and now look where we are. I can't even imagine what we will become. I love my little family!

(Oh, yeah for those of you that don't know I cut bangs)

Daddy Diaries...Day 7 & 8

Dear Daddy,

Yesterday was pretty boring. I played. I tried to walk around with the chair, but it was a bit to big so I ended up walking in circles with it. And I also played with my toys.

Then we went to the Kauffmans to play with Addi and Kate. We went for a walk to the park. It was fun! Especially the stroller ride!
Today, I woke up ready to be on the move. Which I started crawling around with the laundry basket.
Then, Mommy and I went to her Mommy and Me group. I got to play with Olivia.
And Lucy.
Later we went to Grandpa Blair and Grandma Debbie's house...where I enjoyed a banana.
After dinner, we went to visit Aunt Robyn and saw Addi and Kate again!

Today was a lot of fun. But, at the end I was pooped, so a laid down with Grandpa to sleep.
I love you daddy and can't wait to see you in just 2 days!

Love,
Jack

Daddy Diaries...Day 5 & 6

Dear Daddy,

Yesterday, Mom and I had to go get the car fixed. So, while we waited Mommy and I walked over to Smiths, since nothing else was open. We walk around for a little while. They had some fun toys that made me laugh.

I also enjoyed banging on this glass and seeing myself in the mirror. We spent about 45 minutes in the store then headed back, where both Mommy and I took a nap on the couch at the car place, until we finally got to go home.

Later, we went to Grandma Debbie's house where we played outside. I like to eat leaves and play with Grandma's cat! It always makes me giggle.

Later, Grandpa watched me when Mommy and Grandma went to the cannery. I got to finish the day off with some yummy apple juice.

I slept great too, despite the odd positions I get into.

Today, we really didn't do much. Mommy went for a run, so of course I tagged along in the stroller. Then we mostly just hung out, and ran some errands. I certainly made time for a cracker or too!

Since Mommy had her meeting we went by your work, and saw Laurel. She was super excited to see me, we talked though...we both miss you.

I love you daddy and miss you way too much. Just 4 days left!

Love,
Jack
