the STONE family: Little Update

Our Angel Sam

Samuel John Stone was born on August 8, 2013. Prenatally diagnosed with the CHD Tetralogy of Fallot, his first home was at Primary Children's Medical Center. Immediately Sam was a tremendous blessing to so many.

Testing after Sam was born diagnosed him with 22q11 deletion syndrome. Additional evaluation and testing revealed the miraculous way his heart developed to counter the CHD, making Sam's life possible (the development of collateral arteries called MAPCAs).

After 2 weeks in the hospital Sam came home, for four short weeks we was loved and adored by family and friends. On September 17, just 41 days old, he returned to his Father in Heaven. Now our miracle heart boy watches over us, as we wait to be with him again. Families are Forever! We love you Sam!

Little Update

The last few weeks I have caught some cute photos. With Jack moving ALL over the place now it is harder to get things done. This one day I actually got to my scrapbooking...when things got a little too quiet, I looked just under the table I was working at and there is our little boy playing away! The next photo, I just love, it maybe can in a small way relate the love that Andrew has for Jack. They are just too cute! And lastly, over Conference weekend (while the boys are at priesthood), we decorated our Halloween gingerbread houses. This was Tay and Addi's with Natalie, their helper. For the first time since this tradition began us girls actually got to make our house cute! Without Drew, Justin, Dad or Nate adding a gingerbread mans' head getting cut off, etc. I just wish I would have gotten a picture of it! (Just imagine Candy Land!
