Andrew had a conference in San Fransisco, conveniently just before my birthday, then he got a flight voucher, and the stars aligned so I jumped at the chance to go with him. It was so nice to have no responsibility for a couple days. It was a really quick trip but, perfect.
Got in later Thursday night, grabbed a bite in Little Italy.
Drew mentioned to the hotel it was my birthday, so we were surprised with this. (Too bad we don't drink)
The next morning, Union Square.
Friday was the biggest day for Andrew's conference, so I wandered and shopped for a while.
Later we saw Les Miserables. AMAZING! Worth every penny, even if I can't afford food now.
Saturday morning at a good old American Diner.
We rented bikes and rode around the beach and anything else fun looking. Wish we could have gone longer but had to get to the airport.
That's the Golden Gate behind us, Fog anyone?
Incredible building. Palace of Fine Arts. Gorgeous.
One more, nope fog not gone.
We played along the pier for a bit and got yummy sourdough bread bowls and soup!
We found this arcade of all really old games. Super fun!
Coming back to reality after vacation is the pits! I loved being just me and Drew. I love that man!
Enjoy.
