Old Main Hill

Andrew had a meeting at USU in Logan this last weekend, it was only a couple hours and he wouldn't need to head back to work so we joined him! While he was at the meeting we played around USU campus and got some lunch. The majority of our time we played on this giant hill, that the kids loved (Note: Emma is hilarious walking on a hill).

Jack wouldn't run too far up or too far down the hill after the first time, he's a smarty and realized the work to get back up wasn't worth it!

Once Drew was done we went to a little "zoo", got some dinner, and headed home. It was nice to start the weekend a little early, and let us have more time with our Dad.

A little preview of what we did Saturday:
(more to come soon)
Enjoy.

God Bless America

These really should be put into separate posts, but I'm lazy so prepare yourselves for one LONG post, and in very random order.
Our 4th Festivities were full and fun! We spent a couple days in Oakley, UT somewhat camping (meaning we slept in a tent, ate outdoors, and that is about it). It was so nice to be away from everything, and just be our little family.
Monday morning Drew and Jack set out for the earliest showing of Cars 2, while Emma and I wandered the mall a bit (Emma pictured way below in the plaid dress). Then we played with friends and enjoyed family later w/ more sparklers (the picture above).
Doing Sparklers in Oakley. "Mom, I'm holding fire in my hands!"
At a park in Oakley.
Random picture at a play date last week, she is so cute!
Her 4th Outfit:
Now back to real life. We had a great weekend, and are so grateful to live in such an amazing country. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

This is probably where I should have separated the posts...so on to Horseback riding. Last Thursday I got a call from my dad about 4:30 PM asking if we wanted to drive up to Midway to ride for a little bit. Well, since Drew is in the last weeks of the semester equaling stress & swamped with homework, we said YES! We took off an hour later, and it was so fun! Jack HAD to wear his entire cowboy outfit, however, his boots kept slipping down & then off. The first thing he told me when we headed home was next time he needs to wear different shoes.

Thanks Grandpa! We had a blast and are already talking about when to go again.
The last random photo is actually 2 weeks ago at the Cedar Hills fireworks, Emma loved them and kept trying to reach them.
Wow, congrats to you, you made it through the whole post!
Enjoy.
