Winter's Still Here

Winter is boring. I'm not one to complain a lot about the weather, I mean I'm choosing to live in Utah, and it's beautiful here, no matter if the winter last way too long for me. Anyway, this winter has been tough on us, the kids have seriously gone from one cold to the next. Needless to say I'm ready for warmer weather (and healthy kids, that STAY healthy).
Here is just more randomness, which we call our lives (they really are great)!

Jack YANKING Emma under the table to "hide"--was very disappointed that she didn't share the same excitement for the idea and wanted out immediately.
Look Emma's hair is long enough that now can (with a good amount of time to get it just right) hold a clip in it without the headband.
I have always loved Costco for their GIANT carts--now I love them for their 2 child seats!

As sickness was upon us today, Jack entertained himself by doing "preschool" for his toys!
This thrills me. It is so cute. He gave each toy a piece of paper and a crayon to color. He even asked us to help him help Buzz learn to draw a P & a triangle. Then, asked for raisins as a snack.

Our BIG girl! (see video for more explanation)
Sorry about the terribly short video of Emma walking/ pushing her stroller. I cannot get a good video of it. I'll keep trying. She's getting so quick, and has been even standing alone (counted 15ish seconds). Then Emma being SOOOO BIG, and Jack joining in.

ENJOY!

Old Mother Hubbard

For those that don't know the Nursery Rhyme "Old Mother Hubbard" this is it
Old Mother Hubbard
Went to the cupboard
To get her poor dog a bone
When she got there
The cupboard was bare
And so the poor dog had none.

My sweet grandparents gave all their grand & great grand-children the challenge to earn a prize & money if they memorize the nursery rhyme given to them in their birthday card. Jack got Old Mother Hubbard (obviously).
His interpretation: "When she got there, THERE WAS A BEAR!" Hilarious

Oh and my sweet Emma, her development is impeccable these days. Enjoy!

Our Three Year Old

It's hard to think he was that small. But, this is where it all started...
We did a two day celebration (since his birthday was on Sunday), Saturday we did a movie and played with friends at our house. He opened his little tent from us and was thrilled to get this awesome spiderman car, boat, plane from Olivia, plus a sweet car that drives up the fridge from Tyler.
That night he slept in his tent, which began this way...
...ended like this.
We opened even more presents the next morning. (Jessie from Grandma Oxley)
A rug to play with cars on
Sunday night we went to the Arnell's for cake (and the superbowl). Where he got to break into his Train cake!
We can't believe he's three and growing up, but then it seems like he's always been with us. He's such a sweet boy, sensitive, loving, loves to read & learn, can play, play, and play some more and of course is our toy story fanatic. Here he is just 10 minutes ago doing a puzzle he got from G &G Arnell.
Happy Birthday Big Boy! WE LOVE YOU JACK DAVIES STONE!
