Better than I thought.

She didn't scream! But, was obviously not enjoying it.
He went completely shy, but still told the jolly man what he wanted.

Enjoy this amazing season!

It's beginning to...

...to look a lot like Christmas!
I love it! Our house is decked, music playing, Christmas movies & all the magic is here.
There is something crazy & wonderful about driving at night and hearing Emma scream, "YIGHTS!", followed with a giggle--or watching Jack stare at the tree then tell us he loves our tree. It's the best!

I love the feeling felt around us, and the push to focus on Jesus Christ.
For He is our Savior. I love watching Jack's tiny testimony grow as he learns more. I just hope that the Holy Ghost will stay with us through this wonderful season.
Merry Christmas. Enjoy.

Life.

With Thanksgiving only a half a day away I feel the need to send out into the vast world of the internet my gratitude for my life. Yep, I'm right along with all the other cliche posts, I don't care.

My Life. It's a wonderful thing. You know wait, let's start with my day.
I wake up to an alarm telling me you better get up and exercise or you will miss the chance since, soon the house will be way to distracting to do so. Therefore, I'm really grateful for exercise. It keeps me sane.

I'm then embraced by big smiles & a regular question of, "Is it morning time yet?" I'm ever so grateful for those faces. They are what push me to be the best I can be.

Between a shower, breakfast, and daily chores, it is a toss up of what comes next. I'm grateful for my home, our financial ability to fill it with what we need & more. I'm also grateful for the scriptures & prayer. It is what gets me Happily through the day. I can make it through days just fine, but being nice, patient, hospitable, humane it takes constant prayer and daily scripture study.

Next, the kids & I rush out the door to my nanny job. I'm very grateful for that job. It's simple, but it keeps me busy & allows us to be better savers (something we struggle doing).

We roll back home, mix up some dinner & wait for him. I'm grateful for my man. He is all I need and more. I love seeing the kids run to meet him at the door or stand on the kitchen chairs waiting for his car to arrive. They love him, & so do I. He works extremely hard & then goes to school, coming home with enough energy to play with Jack & Emma and then cuddle with me.

I unwind the day usually with a little T.V. and lay down on my pillow & pretty much am out in 3 minutes flat. I'm grateful for sleep. I'm glad I have good sleepers for kids, because me with no sleep just doesn't work.

Now for the things that don't happen daily. I'm grateful for my calling, my testimony, my families, the Lord's tender mercies, my friends, my hot sexy minivan & just life. Life is good.
Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy.

I'm Official!

I guess I should pull out the 'mom jeans' because I'm an official mom now.
It was quite the long day Saturday, as you can see...
After Jack napped, he enjoyed playing on our NEW VAN! I always said, "I'll never drive a minivan". Well life happens and I shock myself as I say I LOVE my new van. It's practical, affordable, convenient, etc.

So, sorry that I won't look so hot anymore, but I'm embracing motherhood to the fullest.
Enjoy.

"J-A-C-K spells ME!"

Jack and I have been working on writing. When I say that I mean introducing writing. But he's caught on fairly well. This is today's product: (a mass improvement)

I'm really so PROUD! Enjoy.

Her Sassiness

My apologies to not posting more regularly. I blame pinterest.

Our little girl has quite the sassy attitude. She knows what she wants and DOES NOT like not getting it. One morning I got her breakfast, told her it was ready and set it on the table in front of her highchair. (she's a climber and can get up herself) She said, "No, pincess", pointing to the T.V. She LOVES Tangled. Tangled equals 'pincess' or princess. Wow, this story is taking a while, sorry. Anyway, I started getting my food, when I look over her food is gone. She's sitting in front of the T.V. with her plate & sippy enjoying 'pincess'.
Proof:

Another post to come soon, it's fun. Just waiting on pictures!
Enjoy.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Aren't the holidays awesome? I just love this time of year. It just keeps getting better with each holiday that comes! Our Halloween festivities have been so fun!
Our family costumes this year was the "Spidermans". Sadly, we missed the opportunity to take a picture of all of us together, but here is what we got.
Emma (at my Mom's work party) with her "punkin"
Carving. Jack & Dad worked together to create this beauty.
My creation was really a team effort, and Drew's bow added the perfect finishing touch.
Mom's work party again.
THE BIG DAY!
Spiderman & Spider-girl. Jack named her that.
Ready to trick or treat.
Meeting up with cousins. Tinkerbell Fay & Rufio Layleigh.
Oh, we did dress up, twice. We were Mary Jane Watson & Peter Parker.
(I know the wig is nasty!)
Enjoy! I love this time of year! (55 days til Christmas)
