With Thanksgiving only a half a day away I feel the need to send out into the vast world of the internet my gratitude for my life. Yep, I'm right along with all the other cliche posts, I don't care.
My Life. It's a wonderful thing. You know wait, let's start with my day.
I wake up to an alarm telling me you better get up and exercise or you will miss the chance since, soon the house will be way to distracting to do so. Therefore,
I'm really grateful for exercise. It keeps me sane.
I'm then embraced by big smiles & a regular question of, "Is it morning time yet?"
I'm ever so grateful for those faces. They are what push me to be the best I can be.
Between a shower, breakfast, and daily chores, it is a toss up of what comes next.
I'm grateful for my home, our financial ability to fill it with what we need & more.
I'm also grateful for the scriptures & prayer. It is what gets me Happily through the day. I can make it through days just fine, but being nice, patient, hospitable, humane it takes constant prayer and daily scripture study.
Next, the kids & I rush out the door to my nanny job.
I'm very grateful for that job. It's simple, but it keeps me busy & allows us to be better savers
(something we struggle doing).
We roll back home, mix up some dinner & wait for him.
I'm grateful for my man. He is all I need and more. I love seeing the kids run to meet him at the door or stand on the kitchen chairs waiting for his car to arrive. They love him, & so do I. He works extremely hard & then goes to school, coming home with enough energy to play with Jack & Emma and then cuddle with me.
I unwind the day usually with a little T.V. and lay down on my pillow & pretty much am out in 3 minutes flat.
I'm grateful for sleep. I'm glad I have good sleepers for kids, because me with no sleep just doesn't work.
Now for the things that don't happen daily.
I'm grateful for my calling, my testimony, my families, the Lord's tender mercies, my friends, my hot sexy minivan & just life. Life is good.
Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy.
